We are a local floor coating company. We install polyaspartic and epoxy floors for garages and basements across the Des Moines metro, and we have since 2019.
Our Story
How we started
Bedrock Floor Coatings started in 2019 with a simple belief: a floor coating is only as strong as the prep underneath it. Too many garage floors fail because the concrete was never ground or the moisture was never checked. We set out to do that part right, every single time.
Since then, we have coated garages and basements across the Des Moines metro. We diamond-grind every slab, repair every crack, and moisture-test every basement before we quote it. Floors are all we do, so we have gotten very good at doing them well.
We are family-owned, and we treat every floor like it is going in our own home. When you hire us, you work with the people doing the work, from the first quote to the final walkthrough. No brokers, no handoffs, no surprises on install day.

A coating is only as strong as the prep. We diamond-grind every floor down to clean, open concrete so the coating actually bonds. Skipping this step is the number one reason floors peel, and we never skip it.

We moisture-test every basement
Iowa basements can be wet, and moisture is the fastest way to ruin a coating. We test every basement slab before we quote it, so you know what your floor needs before you pay a dollar.
