Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to floor coating services provided by Bedrock Floor Coatings, the trade name of Epoxy Floors Des Moines LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). Approving an estimate, paying a deposit, or providing a digital signature constitutes acceptance of these Terms.

1. Scope of Work

All floor coating work will be performed according to the written estimate provided to the customer. The estimate outlines the specific materials, areas, processes, and deliverables included. Any item not listed in the estimate is not included in the contracted scope.

2. Deposit and Payment Terms

• A deposit is required to schedule the project and secure labor and materials.
• The remaining balance is due upon project completion and prior to removal of equipment from the job site.
• Payments may be made by credit card, ACH, or other approved methods.

Failure to pay the final balance within the terms may result in late fees, interest charges, work stoppage, lien filings, or collections. The deposit is non-refundable once materials are ordered or scheduling is finalized.

3. Change Orders

Any changes requested by the customer after the estimate is approved, such as adjustments to the area, materials, added features, or additional labor, must be documented in a written Change Order. Change Orders may result in additional charges and revised scheduling.

4. Site Access and Preparation

The customer is responsible for ensuring proper access to the job site on the scheduled date, including:

• Removal of vehicles, stored items, debris, or obstacles from the work area
• Unlocking gates and providing entry
• Clearing the garage or basement floor to be coated
• Ensuring utilities are marked (Iowa One Call 811) where applicable

Delays caused by incomplete site preparation may result in rescheduling and a delay in project completion.

5. Weather and Scheduling

Floor coating is sensitive to temperature and moisture. Start dates may shift due to extreme temperatures, high humidity, ground saturation, or other conditions that affect curing. Bedrock Floor Coatings will notify customers of any schedule adjustments. Weather delays do not void the contract.

6. Unforeseen Conditions

The estimate is based on visible site conditions. Additional charges may apply if hidden or unforeseen conditions arise, including but not limited to:

• Excessive moisture or hydrostatic pressure in the slab
• Failed or previously applied coatings that require removal
• Extensive cracking, pitting, or spalling
• Unstable or contaminated concrete
• Uneven or incorrect elevations

These will be communicated to the customer before work continues.

7. Workmanship and Warranty

Bedrock Floor Coatings provides a workmanship warranty covering installation defects under normal use. The warranty does not cover:

• Hairline cracking in the concrete (normal in concrete slabs)
• Damage caused by moisture or water pressure rising through the slab
• Soil movement, settling, or slab shifting
• Damage from de-icing salts beyond normal use, harsh chemicals, or abuse
• Impact damage, gouges, or damage from heavy or sharp objects
• Customer misuse or neglect

The warranty is voided if third parties alter or coat the floor after installation. Full warranty details are provided with your estimate.

8. Property Damage and Liability

Reasonable care will be taken to avoid damage to floors, driveways, landscaping, and surrounding property. The customer acknowledges that equipment access may require crossing driveways, lawns, or landscaped areas. Bedrock Floor Coatings is not responsible for pre-existing damage, underground lines that were not marked, or damage caused by required equipment access.

9. Automated Messages, Notifications, and Communication Consent

By submitting a form, scheduling an estimate, approving a proposal, or providing your contact information, you consent to receive:

• Appointment confirmations
• Estimate reminders
• Proposal reminders
• Payment reminders
• Job status notifications
• Review requests
• Project updates
• Customer service follow-ups

Communication may occur through SMS/text message, email, automated voice alerts, automated pipeline notifications, and appointment reminders. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to SMS messages or using the unsubscribe link in emails.

Consent to automated messages is not a condition of purchase and complies with TCPA, FCC, and GoHighLevel standards.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text “STOP” to the shortcode. Upon sending “STOP,” we will confirm your unsubscribe status via SMS. Following this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up as you did initially, and we will resume sending SMS messages to you.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message and data rates may apply for messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies. For questions about your text plan or data plan, contact your wireless provider.

10. Cancellation Policy

If the customer cancels the project after paying the deposit, the deposit may be withheld to cover labor, scheduling, and material costs already allocated or expended.

11. Completion and Final Payment

A job is considered complete when the agreed-upon scope is fulfilled, final finishing is complete, the coating is applied and curing, and equipment is ready for removal. Final payment is due upon completion.

12. Acceptance of Terms

Approval of the estimate, payment of the deposit, or a digital signature constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
